Amador Valley won the last time they faced Livermore and things went their way on Monday too. The Amador Valley Dons strolled past the Livermore Cowboys with points to spare, taking the game 81-64. Given the Dons' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Cowboys are ranked 307th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Amador Valley and bumps their season record up to 19-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Livermore, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-13.

Looking ahead, Amador Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Monte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
