Softball Recap: Napavine Falls Short of Kittitas in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Napavine can now relate to. They fell just short of the Kittitas Coyotes by a score of 9-8 on Friday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Napavine's loss dropped their record down to 14-6-1. As for Kittitas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4-1 record this season.

Napavine will take on Warden at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.77 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Kittitas, they will face off against Adna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
