Softball Recap: Midd-West Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Troy, Midd-West was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Milton Black Panthers a 6-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Midd-West is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Milton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Coincidentally, Midd-West and Milton will both be playing Shamokin Area the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Black Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
