Spearville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Skyline Thunderbirds to the tune of 56-25 on Saturday. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Skyline lost, don't look at Ashley Spease. Despite the final result, she posted seven points along with six boards and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Spease a new career-high in blocks. Kooper Wesley was another key player, putting up seven points.

Spearville pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Skyline, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
