Basketball Recap: James Monroe Victorious

James Monroe won against Chancellor last Friday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The James Monroe Yellow Jackets walked away with a 57-50 win over the Culpeper County Blue Devils. That's two games straight that the Yellow Jackets have won by exactly seven points.

James Monroe now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Culpeper County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. James Monroe will venture away from home to square off against Chancellor at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. James Monroe is facing Chancellor at the right time seeing as Chancellor is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
