Basketball Recap: Patrick County Comes Up Short

Patrick County lost against Franklin County back in February of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Patrick County Cougars fell 56-46 to the Franklin County Eagles. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Patrick County now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Franklin County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patrick County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Liberty at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Franklin County, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
