Lakeway Christian Academy took a 33-point loss the last time they faced off against Webb, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions pulled ahead with a 35-34 photo finish over the Spartans on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their ten-point performance the game before.

Lakeway Christian Academy's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Webb, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeway Christian Academy will head out to square off against Rhea County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Webb, they are taking a road trip to take on Grace Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
