Basketball Recap: Bourbon County Takes a Loss

Bourbon County was the 70-60 winner over Nicholas County when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bourbon County Colonels took a 74-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nicholas County Bluejackets on Tuesday.

Bourbon County's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Nicholas County, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.

Coming up, Bourbon County will challenge Heritage Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nicholas County, they will face off against Bethlehem at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nicholas County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully Bethlehem likes a good challenge.
