Volleyball Game Preview: Davie County War Eagles vs. Lake Norman Wildcats + How To Watch

The Davie County War Eagles will face off against the Lake Norman Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Davie County came up short against Mooresville and fell 3-1.

While Davie County ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Lake Norman and Hough, and Lake Norman kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Huskies on Wednesday.

Lake Norman's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15. As for Davie County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Davie County beat Lake Norman 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Will the War Eagles repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
