Softball Recap: Middle Tennessee Christian Drops Season-High Score on the Webb School

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middle Tennessee Christian). They never let The Webb School Feet get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Feet: they've now won eight in a row.

Riley Osborne was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Allena Reynolds was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Middle Tennessee Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .760. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Middle Tennessee Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for The Webb School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Middle Tennessee Christian and The Webb School will both be playing Grace Christian Academy the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Feet will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
