Basketball Recap: Clewiston Takes a Loss

Clewiston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Southwest Florida Christian King 83-33. The Tigers lost against the King's in their previous head to head back in January of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 85-61 score last time.

Clewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Southwest Florida Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Clewiston is taking a road trip to challenge Glades Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest Florida Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ida Baker at 7:00 p.m. The King's will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
