Volleyball Recap: Kennesaw Mountain Takes a Loss

Kennesaw Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillgrove Hawks. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14.

Kennesaw Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Hillgrove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Kennesaw Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Kell on the 23rd. As for Hillgrove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against North Cobb on the 23rd.
