Lufkin has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jacksonville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fightin' Indians at 4:30 p.m. Lufkin will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville posted their closest victory since August 14th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Nacogdoches 3-2. The Fightin' Indians haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jacksonville was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Jacksonville's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Lufkin, their win bumped their record up to 27-7.

Everything went Lufkin's way against Jacksonville when the teams last played back in August, as Lufkin made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Fightin' Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
