Grundy County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Moore County Raiders, falling 11-5. One positive for the Yellowjackets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Grundy County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Moore County, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grundy County will venture away from home to challenge Cascade at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Moore County, they will head out to face off against Huntland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Huntland has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.25 runs per game on average), something Moore County will no doubt try to take advantage of.
