It was a good run, but Norwell unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leo Lions. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Norwell's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Leo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Norwell will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Wayne Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norwell is on a six-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Fort Wayne Wayne a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Leo, they will head out on the road to take on New Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
