After losing to Cedar Bluff the last time they met, Coosa decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles skirted past the Tigers 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Coosa who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 23-25, 15-11.

Nash Noyes paced Coosa's offense, picking up eight kills. Noyes were helped by Anna Francis and Taegan Cline, who contributed seven assists each. Ruby Hamilton controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Coosa's win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Coosa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Sand Rock on the 23rd. As for Cedar Bluff, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Dade County on the 23rd.
