Recap: DuQuoin Indians vs. Johnston City Indians
The DuQuoin Indians won the last time they faced the Johnston City Indians, and things went their way on Thursday too. DuQuoin came out on top against Johnston City by a score of 62-53.
DuQuoin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dwayne Wilmington out in front who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Maynor, who scored 21 points.
DuQuoin's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Johnston City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
DuQuoin's road trip will continue as they head out to face Eldorado at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Eldorado is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Johnston City won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Christopher at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th.
