It was a good run, but Lawrence County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the West Morgan Rebels by a score of 59-56. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 61-58 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Despite the loss, Lawrence County still got an impressive performance from Braylon Dame, who posted 22 points and eight rebounds. That was a full 39.3% of Lawrence County's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ben Newton, who put up eight points and three steals.

Even though they lost, Lawrence County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in six consecutive matches.

Lawrence County's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for West Morgan, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Lawrence County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-72 victory against West Point on the 12th. As for West Morgan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-47 win against Danville on the 13th.
