After losing to Carter the last time they met, Knoxville Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knoxville Central Bobcats snuck past the Carter Green Hornets with a 46-42 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Despite the loss, Carter saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lexi Tipton dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 boards. That's the most points Tipton has posted since back in November of 2024.

Knoxville Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-14 record this season. As for Carter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-19.

Knoxville Central is taking a road trip to challenge South-Doyle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carter, they will square off against Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
