Football Recap: Lake County Falcons vs. Halls Tigers
Lake County was the 38-19 winner over Halls when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake County Falcons took a 34-20 bruising from the Halls Tigers on Friday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Halls found their leader in underclassman Easton Apperson #14, who rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Lake County now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Halls, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Lake County will head out on the road to face off against Humboldt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Halls, they will take on Fayette Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Halls knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 point or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Fayette Academy likes a good challenge.
