Football Recap: Hug Hawks vs. Wooster Colts
Hug was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 22-6 to the Wooster Colts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 28-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Salvador Amezola Jr. was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 171 yards and two touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 57 yards.
