Football Game Recap: Solomon vs. Goessel

Solomon put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They steamrollered Goessel 60-14. Solomon have a history of success against Goessel, winning their last head-to-head 48-0.

Solomon started the matchup off right with 38 first-half points. Goessel put up 14, so the score was 38-14 at the half. The Solomon defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The win bumped Solomon's record up to 4-0. The loss dropped Goessel back to even at 2-2.

Solomon will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Bennington. Bennington took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Solomon's good fortune. As for Goessel, they will face off against Herington.
