Basketball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-23 loss at the hands of the West Clermont Wolves. The Raptors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-10.

Ella Dreier was Anderson's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Breea Coston held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Sara Lunn took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Anderson's record is now 1-7. As for West Clermont, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson will challenge Mercy McAuley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Clermont, they will take on Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
