New Hope Christian Academy had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 90-50 win over the CHESS Christian Royals. The Statesmen pushed the score to 64-41 by the end of the third, a deficit the Royals had little chance of recovering from.

New Hope Christian Academy pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.6 points over those games. As for CHESS Christian, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-3.

As of now, neither New Hope Christian Academy nor CHESS Christian have any future games scheduled.
