Softball Recap: Tempe Prep Comes Up Short

Tempe Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 31-9 to the Pima Roughriders.

Taylor McCallen was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Olivia Wagner, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Tempe Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Pima, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

As of now, neither Tempe Prep nor the Roughriders have any future games scheduled.
