Basketball Recap: Mechanicsburg Beats Grandview Heights for Their Third Straight Win

Mechanicsburg hadn't done well against Grandview Heights recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Mechanicsburg Indians snuck past the Grandview Heights Bobcats with a 48-43 win. The victory was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on three straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mechanicsburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keegan Freeze, who posted 15 points. That's the most points Freeze has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Conner Eyink, who had 11 points.

Mechanicsburg's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Grandview Heights, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Mechanicsburg will be taking part in a tournament against Northmor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grandview Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
