Morrilton fell victim to Magnolia and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Devil Dogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Morrilton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Magnolia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Morrilton will host Central Arkansas Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Magnolia, they will take on Nashville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Magnolia is facing Nashville at the right time seeing as Nashville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
