Preview: Pennsbury Falcons vs. Bensalem Fighting Owls
Pennsbury has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will square off against the Bensalem Fighting Owls at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Pennsbury was able to grind out a solid win over Harry S. Truman, taking the game 39-31. Given Pennsbury's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Harry S. Truman is ranked 371st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Bensalem got the win against Council Rock North on Friday by a conclusive 64-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bensalem.
Bensalem's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Morris, who scored 17 points. Amir Drummond was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Pennsbury's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Harry S. Truman's loss dropped them down to 0-3.
Pennsbury beat Bensalem 64-54 when the teams last played back in January. Does Pennsbury have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bensalem turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
