Softball Recap: South Fulton Red Devils vs. Peabody Golden Tide
South Fulton had lost four straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 6-13-1 to make it five. They lost 16-1 to the Peabody Golden Tide. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Red Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.
As for Peabody, their record is now 10-11. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the match before.
For Peabody's part, Haylee Barnett made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Barnett was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
