Volleyball Recap: Valencia Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Valencia can now relate to. They came up short against the Vista Murrieta Broncos on Friday, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Tigers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

While Valencia was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-16.

Valencia's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-8. As for Vista Murrieta, the win got them back to even at 19-19.

Valencia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vista Murrieta, they will be playing at home against Rancho Alamitos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
