Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Chino Hills couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Norco Cougars on Wednesday, falling 9-1. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Chino Hills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lianna Ferrara, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Chino Hills' loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Norco, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Chino Hills nor Norco have any future games scheduled.
