Middlesex extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 5-6. They came out on top against the Chincoteague Ponies by a score of 5-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

As for Chincoteague, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Chincoteague's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jermaine Logan, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Looking ahead, Middlesex will take on Mathews at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chincoteague, they will square off against Holly Grove Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
