Volleyball Game Preview: Normandy Invaders vs. Lakewood Rangers + How To Watch

The Normandy Invaders will square off against the Lakewood Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Normandy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each match than the last.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Normandy turned things around against Valley Forge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 3-0 win. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 5, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Normandy took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Lakewood beat Rocky River 3-1 on Thursday.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (94-88) Lakewood actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

Normandy better keep an eye on Audrey McNulty. She was instrumental in Lakewood's win, getting 19 digs and two assists.
