Football Recap: Hinkley Falls to Englewood in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Hinkley kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 63-6 loss at the hands of the Englewood Pirates. The Thunder lost against the Pirates in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 34-0 score last time.

Englewood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Daniel Cullin out in front who rushed for 15 yards and three touchdowns. Another rusher making a difference was Nate Frausto, who rushed for 65 yards and one TD.

Hinkley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 71-0 loss against Skyview on the 5th. As for Englewood, they have also already played their next matchup, a 42-13 defeat against Denver West on the 5th.
