Lumberton extended their postseason success on Thursday against Lampasas. They never let the Badgers get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Aiden Marshall, who gave up just five hits to keep Lampasas off the board. Marshall has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lumberton's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Emerson, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lumberton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lampasas only managed five hits.

Lumberton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Lampasas, their loss dropped their record down to 23-8-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Badgers beat Lumberton by a score of 15-2 on Saturday.
