Coolidge faced Washington Latin Public Charter School in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Walter Marin Olmos hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Coolidge's goal came courtesy of Pedro Rosales, who's now up to three this season.

Coolidge's draw gives them a new season record of 6-2-2. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, they moved theirs to 9-1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coolidge will square off against Bell at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, they will take on DC International at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. DC International will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Washington Latin Public Charter School surely won't give up without a fight.
