Volleyball Recap: Lainey Jackson Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat East Fairmont

Trinity Christian won the last time they faced East Fairmont and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Bees by a score of 2-0.

Trinity Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-19.

Trinity Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lainey Jackson, who had ten digs and four aces. That's the most aces Jackson has posted over her last four games. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson Dunn, who had seven assists and five aces.

They weren't the only good server: Trinity Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Trinity Christian's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for East Fairmont, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

Trinity Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Frankfort on the 16th. As for East Fairmont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against University on the 16th.
