Georgetown and Pleasant Hill squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Georgetown had to settle for second. They were dealt a 61-23 loss at the hands of the Pleasant Hill Eagles. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 31-11. As for Pleasant Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-8 record this season.

While Georgetown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
