Volleyball Recap: Excel Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Excel was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Monroe County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell just short of the Flomaton Hurricanes by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Excel's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Flomaton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Excel is set to challenge their familiar foe Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Flomaton will take on rival Monroe County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
