Football Recap: Charlton County Indians vs. McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers
While Charlton County put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for McIntosh County Academy. The Charlton County Indians strolled past the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers with points to spare, taking the game 19-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2021.
The win made it two in a row for Charlton County and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for McIntosh County Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlton County will head out to square off against Jeff Davis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McIntosh County Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Emanuel County Institute at 7:30 p.m. on September 6th.
