After a string of four wins, Triad's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Belleville West Maroons by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, Triad couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Claire Gough, who's now up to five this season.

Triad's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Belleville West, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.

Triad is taking a road trip to take on Mascoutah at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belleville West, they will be taking part in a tournament against Union Grove at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
