Parkway West is 9-1 against Webster Groves since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Longhorns will take on the Statesmen at 5:00 p.m. Parkway West will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Parkway West proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past Oakville 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Longhorns have posted since October 2, 2024.

Parkway West had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 19-25, 25-23, 26-24, 15-11.

Webster Groves not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 22, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Ladue Horton Watkins as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Statesmen haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Parkway West better focus on containing Nina Young and Rose Whitemountain as the pair were huge in Webster Groves' win. Young had 30 assists and five digs, while Whitemountain had 22 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Young has posted over her last three contests.

Parkway West's record now sits at 11-2-1. As for Webster Groves, their record is now 7-9.

Parkway West was able to grind out a solid win over Webster Groves when the teams last played last Tuesday, winning 3-1. Do the Longhorns have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Statesmen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
