Basketball Game Preview: Galeton Tigers vs. Cameron County Raiders

Galeton is 0-10 against Cameron County since January of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Galeton Tigers will host the Cameron County Raiders at 7:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Galeton is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 35th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They came up short against Oswayo Valley, falling 39-13. The Tigers were down 33-9 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Lynlee Basile was Galeton's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Brielle Lehman held things down on the boards with two rebounds.

Meanwhile, Cameron County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-37 heartbreaker at the hands of Bradford. While the Raiders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Owls 12-4 in the first quarter.

Cameron County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Galeton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.
