After a string of four wins, Rogers's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Maple Grove Crimson by a score of 6-5. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Maple Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Rogers wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-0 win against Totino-Grace on the 15th. As for Maple Grove, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-1 victory against Osseo on the 15th.
