Volleyball Game Preview: Metea Valley Mustangs vs. Hinsdale South Hornets

The Metea Valley Mustangs will challenge the Hinsdale South Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Metea Valley turned things around against Naperville Central on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Redhawks 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Metea Valley got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 16-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Hinsdale South waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Blazers by a score of 2-0.

Hinsdale South easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21.

Metea Valley now has a winning record of 16-15. As for Hinsdale South, their victory bumped their record up to 20-11.
