The Mountain Ridge Sentinels will take on the El Dorado Golden Hawks at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Mountain Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Mountain Ridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Orem, who was ranked seventh at the time (Mountain Ridge was ranked first). Mountain Ridge lost 10-4 to Orem on Thursday. The Sentinels have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Leo Bacciocco made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Tegan Jenkins was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, El Dorado unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Villa Park.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Mountain Ridge, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
