Lane Tech waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Latin Romans. That's more bragging rights for the Champions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lane Tech's win bumped their record up to 32-6. As for Latin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.

Lane Tech will face off against DePaul College Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Champions surely won't give up without a fight. Latin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
