Basketball Recap: Lathrop Comes Up Short

Lathrop suffered their biggest defeat since February 16th on Friday. They lost 50-29 to the Plattsburg Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Mules in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Lathrop's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Plattsburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lathrop will venture away from home to challenge Orrick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plattsburg will take on Central in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Central has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 214 points over their last three matches.
