Basketball Recap: Beacon Hill Takes a Loss

Beacon Hill lost against Newbury Park Adventist back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Beacon Hill Gryphon lost 62-42 to the Newbury Park Adventist Gators.

Beacon Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Newbury Park Adventist, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beacon Hill will take on Newbury Park Adventist at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Newbury Park Adventist, they will square off against Hillcrest Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Newbury Park Adventist likes a good challenge.
