Baseball Recap: Goodland Comes Up Short

Goodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Holcomb Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, with their most recent loss being a 26-16 defeat on Thursday.

Goodland's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Holcomb, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Longhorns beat Goodland by a score of 26-16 later that day.
